    Ege University in ISC World University Rankings 2019: An Overview

    Overall Performance of Ege University within OIC Region:

    Based on ISC World University Rankings 2019 overall rank, Ege University (rank=801-900) together with six other universities ranked 34th among all OIC universities (Figure 2).

    Performance of Ege University in OIC/World within Each Criterion:

    I. Research Criterion

    Studying the performance of top OIC universities in Research criterion, Ege University, with the Research score of 65.2, ranked 36th together with Alexandria University among all OIC universities. King Abdulaziz University, King Abdullah University of Science & Technology, and King Saud University ranked 1st to 3rd respectively.

    At the global scale, and in Research criterion, the score obtained by Ege University was 65.2 together with 7 other universities (rank=850) (Figure 3).

    II. Education Criterion

    Studying the performance of OIC universities in Education criterion, Ege University, with the Education score of 4.5 ranked 86th together with 6 other universities among all OIC universities. Acibadem University, King Abdulaziz University, and Hitit University ranked 1st to 3rd respectively.

    At the global scale, and in Education criterion, the score obtained by Ege University was 4.5 (rank=1152) together with 31 other universities (Figure 4).

    III. International Activity

    Studying the performance of top OIC universities in International Activity criterion, Ege University with the International Activity score of 59.7 ranked 59th together with University of Marrakech Cadi Ayyad among all OIC universities. King Saud University, King Abdulaziz University, and Universiti Malaya ranked 1st to 3rd respectively.

    At the global scale, and in International Activity criterion, the score of Ege University was 59.7 (rank=882) together with 5 other universities (Figure 5).

    IV. Innovation Criterion

    The last criterion in ISC World University Rankings 2019 is Innovation. Here, Ege University with the Innovation score of 4.9 ranked 17th together with Qatar University among all OIC universities. King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, King Saud University, and Middle East Technical University ranked 1st to 3rd respectively.

    At the global scale, and in Innovation criterion, the score of Ege University was 4.9 (rank=781) together with 14 other universities (Figure 6).
