    Overall Performance of Kuwait University within OIC Region:

    Based on ISC World University Rankings 2019 overall rank, Kuwait University (rank= 1001-1200) together with 25 other universities ranked 52nd among all OIC universities.

    Performance of Sultan Kuwait University in OIC/World within Each Criterion:

    I. Research Criterion

    Studying the performance of top OIC universities in Research criterion, Kuwait University, with the Research score of 59, ranked 83rd among all OIC universities together with Sabanci University and University of Jordan. King Abdulaziz University, King Abdullah University of Science & Technology, and King Saud University ranked 1st to 3rd respectively.

    At the global scale, and in Research criterion, the score obtained by Kuwait University was 59 (rank= 1292) (Figure 3).

    II. Education Criterion

    Studying the performance of OIC universities in Education criterion, Kuwait University, with the Education score of 4 ranked 103rd among all OIC universities together with University of Tehran and Shahrekord University. Acibadem University, King Abdulaziz University, and Hitit University ranked 1st to 3rd respectively. At the global scale, and in Education criterion, the score obtained by Kuwait University was 4 (rank=1239) (Figure 4).

    III. International Activity

    Studying the performance of top OIC universities in International Activity criterion, Kuwait University with the International Activity score of 64.1 ranked 38th among all OIC universities together with King Saud Bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences. King Saud University, King Abdulaziz University, and Universiti Malaya ranked 1st to 3rd respectively.

    At the global scale, and in International Activity criterion, the score of Kuwait University was 64.1 (rank= 675) (Figure 6).

    IV. Innovation Criterion

    The last criterion in ISC World University Rankings 2019 is Innovation. Figure 7 shows the performance of top OIC universities in this criterion. Here, Kuwait University with the Innovation score of 3.5 ranked 34th among all OIC universities together with Helwan University. King Fahd University Of Petroleum & Minerals, King Saud University, and Middle East Technical University ranked 1st to 3rd respectively.

    At the global scale, and in Innovation criterion, the score of Kuwait University was 3.5 (rank= 1002) (Figure 8).
