Overall Performance of University of Dhaka within OIC Region:

Based on ISC World University Rankings 2019 overall rank, University of Dhaka (rank= 1201-1400) together with 29 other universities ranked 78th among all OIC universities.

Performance of University of Dhaka in OIC/World within Each Criterion:

I. Research Criterion

Studying the performance of top OIC universities in Research criterion, University of Dhaka, with the Research score of 55.9, ranked 126th among all OIC universities together with Bahauddin Zakariya University and Mazandaran University Medical Sciences. King Abdulaziz University, King Abdullah University of Science & Technology, and King Saud University ranked 1st to 3rd respectively.

At the global scale, and in Research criterion, the score obtained by University of Dhaka was 55.9 (rank= 1539) (Figure 3).

II. Education Criterion

Studying the performance of OIC universities in Education criterion, University of Dhaka, with the Education score of 6.2 ranked 55th among all OIC universities together with Koc University. Acibadem University, King Abdulaziz University, and Hitit University ranked 1st to 3rd respectively. At the global scale, and in Education criterion, the score obtained by University of Dhaka was 6.2 (rank=823) (Figure 4).

III. International Activity

Studying the performance of top OIC universities in International Activity criterion, University of Dhaka with the International Activity score of 57.1 ranked 75th among all OIC universities together with University Cheikh Anta Diop Dakar. King Saud University, King Abdulaziz University, and Universiti Malaya ranked 1st to 3rd respectively.

At the global scale, and in International Activity criterion, the score of University of Dhaka was 57.1 (rank= 999) (Figure 6).

IV. Innovation Criterion

The last criterion in ISC World University Rankings 2019 is Innovation. Figure 7 shows the performance of top OIC universities in this criterion. Here, University of Dhaka with the Innovation score of 1.6 ranked 76th among all OIC universities together with Universiti Malaya, Suez Canal University, Monash University Sunway, Mazandaran University Medical Sciences, Dicle University, and Universite De La Manouba . King Fahd University Of Petroleum & Minerals, King Saud University, and Middle East Technical University ranked 1st to 3rd respectively.

At the global scale, and in Innovation criterion, the score of University of Dhaka was 1.6 (rank= 1419) (Figure 8).
