Based on ISC World University Rankings 2019 overall rank, Istanbul University (rank= 501-600) ranked 10th among all OIC universities together with Ain Shams University, Qatar University, American University of Beirut , Middle East Technical University, and Universiti Sains Malaysia.
Studying the performance of top OIC universities in Research criterion, Istanbul University, with the Research score of 70.5, ranked 9th among all OIC universities (Figure 2). King Abdulaziz University, King Abdullah University of Science & Technology, and King Saud University ranked 1st to 3rd respectively.
At the global scale, and in Research criterion, the score obtained by Istanbul University was 70.5 (rank= 564) together with National University of La Plata, University of Bielefeld, and University of Calabria (Figure 3).
Studying the performance of OIC universities in Education criterion, Istanbul University, with the Education score of 2.2 ranked 146th among all OIC universities. Acibadem University, King Abdulaziz University, and Hitit University ranked 1st to 3rd respectively.
At the global scale, and in Education criterion, the score obtained by Istanbul University was 2.2 (rank=1443) together with Kongju National University, University of Erlangen Nuremberg, and York University-Canada (Figure 4).
Studying the performance of top OIC universities in International Activity criterion, Istanbul University with the International Activity score of 74.6 ranked 14th among all OIC universities. King Saud University, King Abdulaziz University, and Universiti Malaya ranked 1st to 3rd respectively.
At the global scale, and in International Activity criterion, the score of Istanbul University was 74.6 (rank= 367) together with University of Bremen, University of Duisburg Essen, and University of Nebraska Linkoln (Figure 5).
The last criterion in ISC World University Rankings 2019 is Innovation. Here, Istanbul University with the Innovation score of 4.5 ranked 20th together with King Saud Bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences among all OIC universities. King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, King Saud University, and Middle East Technical University ranked 1st to 3rd respectively.
At the global scale, and in Innovation criterion, the score of Istanbul University was 4.5 (rank=830) together with 16 other universities (Figure 6).
