    Based on ISC World University Rankings 2019 overall rank, Hacettepe University (rank=451-500) together with 2 other universities ranked 7th among all OIC universities. Other universities that fall within the 451-500 category include Tehran University of Medical Sciences and University of Tehran.

    Performance of Hacettepe University in OIC/World within Each Criterion:

    I. Research Criterion

    Studying the performance of top OIC universities in Research criterion, Hacettepe University, with the Research score of 71.9, ranked 8th among all OIC universities. King Abdulaziz University, King Abdullah University of Science & Technology, and King Saud University ranked 1st to 3rd respectively.

    At the global scale, and in Research criterion, the score obtained by Hacettepe University was 71.9 (rank= 501) (Figure 2).

    II. Education Criterion

    Studying the performance of OIC universities in Education criterion, Hacettepe University, with the Education score of 4.6 ranked 83rd together with Shahid Beheshti University and Diponegoro University among all OIC universities. Acibadem University, King Abdulaziz University, and Hitit University ranked 1st to 3rd respectively. At the global scale, and in Education criterion, the score obtained by Hacettepe University was 4.6 (rank=1137) (Figure 3).

    III. International Activity

    Studying the performance of top OIC universities in International Activity criterion, Hacettepe University, with the International Activity score of 75.9 ranked 8th among all OIC universities. King Saud University, King Abdulaziz University, and Universiti Malaya ranked 1st to 3rd respectively.

    At the global scale, and in International Activity criterion, the score of Hacettepe University was 75.9 (rank= 333) (Figure 4).

    IV. Innovation Criterion

    The last criterion in ISC World University Rankings 2019 is Innovation. Figure 6 shows the performance of top OIC universities in this criterion. Here, Hacettepe University with the Innovation score of 5.5 ranked 15th among all OIC universities. King Fahd University Of Petroleum & Minerals, King Saud University, and Middle East Technical University ranked 1st to 3rd respectively.
