    Qatar University in ISC World University Rankings 2019: An Overview

    Overall Performance of Qatar University within OIC Region:

    Based on ISC World University Rankings 2019 overall rank, Qatar University (rank= 501-600) ranked 10th among all OIC universities together with Ain Shams University , American, University Of Beirut , Istanbul University , Middle East Technical University , and Universiti Sains Malaysia .

    Performance of Qatar University in OIC/World within Each Criterion:

    I. Research Criterion

    Studying the performance of top OIC universities in Research criterion, Qatar University, with the Research score of 67.1, ranked 24th among all OIC universities together with King Fahd University Of Petroleum & Minerals . King Abdulaziz University, King Abdullah University of Science & Technology, and King Saud University ranked 1st to 3rd respectively.

    At the global scale, and in Research criterion, the score obtained by Qatar University was 67.1 (rank= 740) (Figure 2).

    II. Education Criterion

    Studying the performance of OIC universities in Education criterion, Qatar University, with the Education score of 11 ranked 22nd among all OIC. Acibadem University, King Abdulaziz University, and Hitit University ranked 1st to 3rd respectively. At the global scale, and in Education criterion, the score obtained by Qatar University was 11 (rank=299) (Figure 3).

    III. International Activity

    Studying the performance of top OIC universities in International Activity criterion, Qatar University with the International Activity score of 75.8 ranked 9th among all OIC universities. King Saud University, King Abdulaziz University, and Universiti Malaya ranked 1st to 3rd respectively.

    At the global scale, and in International Activity criterion, the score of Qatar University was 75.8 (rank= 336) (Figure 5).

    IV. Innovation Criterion

    The last criterion in ISC World University Rankings 2019 is Innovation. Figure 6 shows the performance of top OIC universities in this criterion. Here, Qatar University with the Innovation score of 4.9 ranked 17th among all OIC universities together with Ege University . King Fahd University Of Petroleum & Minerals, King Saud University, and Middle East Technical University ranked 1st to 3rd respectively.

    At the global scale, and in Innovation criterion, the score of Qatar University was 4.9 (rank= 781) (Figure 7).
