Based on ISC World University Rankings 2019 overall rank, Sultan Qaboos University (rank= 901-1000) together with 10 other universities ranked 41st among all OIC universities.
Studying the performance of top OIC universities in Research criterion, Sultan Qaboos University, with the Research score of 60.6, ranked 63rd among all OIC universities. King Abdulaziz University, King Abdullah University of Science & Technology, and King Saud University ranked 1st to 3rd respectively.
At the global scale, and in Research criterion, the score obtained by Sultan Qaboos University was 60.6 (rank= 1148) (Figure 3).
Studying the performance of OIC universities in Education criterion, Sultan Qaboos University, with the Education score of 12.3 ranked 14th among all OIC universities together with Khalifa University of Science & Technology. Acibadem University, King Abdulaziz University, and Hitit University ranked 1st to 3rd respectively. At the global scale, and in Education criterion, the score obtained by Sultan Qaboos University was 12.3 (rank=227) (Figure 4).
Studying the performance of top OIC universities in International Activity criterion, Sultan Qaboos University with the International Activity score of 65.5 ranked 33rd among all OIC universities. King Saud University, King Abdulaziz University, and Universiti Malaya ranked 1st to 3rd respectively.
At the global scale, and in International Activity criterion, the score of Sultan Qaboos University was 65.5 (rank= 636) (Figure 6).
The last criterion in ISC World University Rankings 2019 is Innovation. Figure 7 shows the performance of top OIC universities in this criterion. Here, Sultan Qaboos University with the Innovation score of 1.9 ranked 71st among all OIC universities. King Fahd University Of Petroleum & Minerals, King Saud University, and Middle East Technical University ranked 1st to 3rd respectively.
At the global scale, and in Innovation criterion, the score of Sultan Qaboos University was 1.9 (rank= 1353) (Figure 8).
