    Bogazici University in ISC World University Rankings 2019: An Overview

    Overall Performance of Bogazici University within OIC Region:

    Based on ISC World University Rankings 2019 overall rank, Bogazici University (rank=701-800) together with eight other universities ranked 25th among all OIC universities (Figure 2).

    Performance of Bogazici University in OIC/World within Each Criterion:

    I. Research Criterion

    Studying the performance of top OIC universities in Research criterion, Bogazici University, with the Research score of 67.7, ranked 18th together with Universiti Sains Malaysia among all OIC universities. King Abdulaziz University, King Abdullah University of Science & Technology, and King Saud University ranked 1st to 3rd respectively.

    At the global scale, and in Research criterion, the score obtained by Bogazici University was 67.7 together with four other universities (rank=711) (Figure 3).

    II. Education Criterion

    Studying the performance of OIC universities in Education criterion, Bogazici University, with the Education score of 3.5 ranked 114th together with Imam Khomeini International University and Mustafa Kemal University among all OIC universities. Acibadem University, King Abdulaziz University, and Hitit University ranked 1st to 3rd respectively.

    At the global scale, and in Education criterion, the score obtained by Bogazici University was 3.5 (rank=1310) together with 14 other universities (Figure 4).

    III. International Activity

    Studying the performance of top OIC universities in International Activity criterion, Bogazici University with the International Activity score of 61.2 ranked 49th together with Isfahan University of Technology among all OIC universities. King Saud University, King Abdulaziz University, and Universiti Malaya ranked 1st to 3rd respectively.

    At the global scale, and in International Activity criterion, the score of Bogazici University was 61.2 (rank=812) together with four other universities (Figure 5).

    IV. Innovation Criterion

    The last criterion in ISC World University Rankings 2019 is Innovation. Here, Bogazici University with the Innovation score of 5.8 ranked 14th among all OIC universities. King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, King Saud University, and Middle East Technical University ranked 1st to 3rd respectively.

    At the global scale, and in Innovation criterion, the score of Bogazici University was 5.8 (rank=675) together with 10 other universities (Figure 6).
